For non-Mandingo speakers:
This blog is dedicate to all Mandingo speakers and the admirers of the language. The blog will convey some Mandingo proverbs and phrases. I will urge the speakers of Mandingo to imotalise the rich proverbs spoken in our every day conversations. The western world never underestimated the potentials for knowledge trasference, so why should we look down on what we are? Language is a tool that can maintain and strength a people, their culture and traditions. It is time we act and stop blaming others for our docility. Please correct me should in case i mis-state a proverb. That would be immensely appreciated. The blog is be a continuation of works by the likes of Dr David Gamble or Gamble Fatty, and the many other works done by our own Gambian adult literacy boards. Thanks.
This is your brother Suntou
